The rewiring is complete, and Electro is ready to receive the 16 6V batteries. The DC-DC is still at Belktronix, being reconfigured for 96V in, and I have been searching for a good vendor to buy my 6V deep-cycle batteries from. I found a local manufacturer, Dyno Batteries in Seattle, that will meet my needs. Here is the type of battery I am planning to purchase:

Rob: Be very careful of the batteries you buy. My suggestion is to go with a proven battery, even if you have to pay a little more. Buying on price or availability may prove to be false economy. The EVDL is full of stories of failed batteries from "less-than-well-known" vendors.
Thanks Roger - Wise man!
Yes, I have been doing a LOT of research here, and not just to save a buck, but also on the track record. This company is a local establishment - they actually MAKE the batteries there, not only for golf carts and fishing boats, but also for trains - amazing. I have heard recommendations from multiple independent sources on these guys.
CHECK THAT!
I did some *extra* research on EVDL regarding Dynos in the context of EV conversions. There were a couple of BAD experiences with lifetimes. I will be sticking with US Batteries, thank you very much!
